The original music for Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was composed by the legendary duo Jatin-Lalit, with lyrics by Anand Bakshi. For the Telugu version, these songs were beautifully recreated with Telugu lyrics by Vennelakanti, and sung by the iconic playback singers S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and K. S. Chithra. The Telugu soundtrack became a sensation in its own right.
