1990 Filmyzilla — Hatim Tai

Hatim learns that the king's resistance stems from a past transgression. Years ago, a fairy named Gulnar Pari (played by Sangeeta Bijlani) was enchanted by the beauty of the king's palace. When the king attempted to assault her, she began turning to stone to protect her honor. Before fully petrifying, she cursed the king: whoever his daughter Mariam marries will die on their wedding night, and Mariam herself will then turn to stone. The king begged for mercy, and the fairy left him with a final challenge: the curse could only be broken if someone found the answers to seven mysterious, philosophical questions.

In 2019, a web series based on the life of Hatim Tai was released on ZEE5. The show, also titled "Hatim Tai", offers a fresh take on the classic tale, with a modern twist. While it may not have received the same critical acclaim as the original film, the series demonstrates the continued relevance of the Hatim Tai legend. hatim tai 1990 filmyzilla
